At Ayan Dentistry, our team of experienced and friendly dental professionals are dedicated to providing our patients with personalized, comprehensive care. Founded in 2003 by Dr. Darlenn G. Ayan, we are proud to be a privately owned practice focusing on individualized patient-centered care. From the moment you step into our office to the moment you leave, we strive to make your experience worthy of 5 stars from the first phone call to your routine visits. Dr. Ayan and Dr. Diaczynsky are highly trained in all phases of dentistry. We believe that your overall appearance and self-confidence can be improved through conservative cosmetic dental techniques utilizing the most up to date technology. Amy
Practice Administrator
Amy has been in the dental field for over 25 years and has worked alongside Dr. Ayan for nearly 15 years. She is passionate about making patients feel like family from their initial visit to when they walk out with a beautiful, confident and healthy smile! As Practice Administrator it is her responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business and ensuring the practice runs and functions smoothly in all aspects. Amy’s goal is to make your experience as friendly and comfortable as possible for all your dental needs. Amy is fortunate to live in the Naples area since 1979. She has two grown children that also live in Naples and is blessed with three beautiful granddaughters! During her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Geri
Registered Dental Hygienist
Geris is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and has been practicing dental hygiene in Naples since 1986. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Armstrong State College in Savannah, Georgis in 1981. Geri has worked in the periodontal field for over 30 years. Geri is excited about the role a hygienist plays in helping a patient achieve a healthy smile. She understands the needs of her patients thoroughly and enjoys helping them achieve outstanding oral health by providing quality care in a comfortable and caring environment. She has made it a priority to stay current with the latest advancements in Periodontics. Outside of the office, she spends her time volunteering. Geri devotes her time to charities that are close to her heart including Project Smile and Laces of Love. She also enjoys her time volunteering as a clinician for the Neighborhood Health Clinic. Outside of the office, Geri loves to travel. She enjoys book club and a variety of music. She spends time with her family in Cincinnati and Scottsdale and looks forward to visiting her two sons in Colorado.
Wendy | Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, CDA
With 30+ years of experience in dentistry, Wendy brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and compassion to every patient she cares for. Originally from Canton, Ohio, Wendy moved to Florida in her 20s and quickly fell in love with the Sunshine State—she has never looked back! Wendy has been a valued member of the Ayan Dentistry family for more than 12 years. Although she originally planned to pursue a career in dental hygiene, she discovered her passion for dental assisting and has made it her lifelong career.
As an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, Wendy has advanced training and expertise and maintains status with the Dental Assisting National Board through ongoing continuing education. She especially enjoys hands-on laboratory work and is passionate about helping rehabilitate and transform her patients’ smiles.
Known for her warm personality and ability to connect with people, Wendy has a natural talent for helping patients feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair. She takes the time to explain treatment clearly and answer questions, helping patients feel informed and at ease. Outside of the office, Wendy enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and continuing to expand her dental knowledge.
Helen | Dental Assistant / Front Desk Assistant
Born and raised in Naples, Helen’s family immigrated to the area from Cuba. Her interest in dentistry began in middle school while she was undergoing orthodontic treatment. She loved going to the dentist and knew she wanted to create that same positive experience for others. After graduating from Golden Gate High School, she earned her dental assisting certification and began her career in dentistry.
Helen is a familiar and welcoming face at Ayan Dentistry, where she plays an important role both at the front desk and alongside the clinical team. She greets patients, answers phones, assists with patient care, and helps wherever she is needed to ensure each patient has a positive experience. Her more than seven years of experience as a local restaurant host has also helped her develop exceptional people skills. She is known for being compassionate, attentive, and an excellent listener, always making patients feel comfortable and cared for.
Helen loves dentistry because she enjoys making people happy and helping create a positive experience for every patient. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her 8-year-old German Shepherd, Haila, whom she has had since she was a puppy, as well as coloring, shopping, and going to the beach. Her genuine warmth and caring personality make her a wonderful addition to the Ayan Dentistry team
Duke
Certified Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions
Duke grew up in Naples, a graduate of Lely High School, played football at Marian University in Indianapolis, IN and received his Bachelor of Science from Florida Southwestern State College. He has been in the dental field since 2009 when he received his Expanded Functions and Dental Assisting Certification. He has assisted in all aspects of general dentistry and has a passion for implant dentistry. He has an extensive knowledge of all the latest digital technology that Ayan Dentistry provides. Duke is married to his high school sweetheart, a nurse practitioner at NCH. Together they balance their life between work and family, proudly raising 3 very active children. Duke is fluent in English, Creole, French and Spanish. His experience and personal drive are a welcome addition to our team!
